Started with an introduction to the Fablab community by Francisco. Then moved on to the the working principles that have to be followed while working in Fablab. Explained the principles followed by MIT. Explained the his view on why we need the fablab with the “Whole Story” presentation. So we basically covered
Then we moved on to the course routine of the actual Fab Academy course and then to the 4 week pre fab. He explained why we need a Prefab training and how it will help us while we take the Fab Academy course. So we basically covered the following

- It is not mini Fab Academy
- Addressed to people who wants to do Fab Academy later

- What is Fab Academy - a brief and do and dont’s. How it works.
- Learning places in the internet and using the internet to solve problems. We discussed about edX, instructables, youtube etc. And very importantly learned about the archives of previous year classes in Fab Academy
After going through the course Franc introduced to the main personalities behind the course, how is the evaluation done etc. He even went in detail about how to do the final project of Fab Academy instyle !!
Then Francisco shared a folder via. google drive which we will use to store and share files. Then we had a discussion on what we will be doing in the first week in detail.
